Job Description

You will be part of a Scrum team that mainly develops and maintains Backup & Restore tools for the platforms of ASML systems.

You will be involved in all stages of the software development process starting with requirements collection, design, development, testing, and software maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implementing software according to the best coding practices;
• Investigating issues and implementing solutions;
• Creating proof of concepts for tooling, automation and optimization for the client systems;
• Show a structured and systematic approach to solving complex problems;
• Ensuring project delivery on time;
• Ensuring up-to-date and high-quality documentation;
• Understanding and documenting the requirements;
• Estimating the workload;
• Supporting and helping people in the team;
• Collaborating closely with members of other teams throughout the delivery of the product;
• As a Scrum team member, actively participate in Scrum Sprint Plannings, Dailies, Refinement and Retrospective Meetings.

Job Requirements

Required Experience:

• Experience in Linux/Unix environment;
• Experience in programming in Python;
• Excellent OOP knowledge;
• Experience in shell scripting;
• Good understanding of SOLID Principles and overall best coding practices of software development;
• Understanding of automated testing and integration testing as a practice.

Would be an advantage if you have experience with:

• Ansible;
• Eliciting and documenting requirements;
• Writing design documents and UML diagrams;
• Agile Methodologies;
• Working in a multinational environment.
