Primary Responsibilities

Designing and Developing Applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and develop robust software applications using .NET framework and C#.

Coding and Debugging

Write clean, scalable code following best practices and standards in software development. Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Testing and Deployment

Perform unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. Support deployment of applications and evaluate its performance.

Maintenance and Support

Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Investigate and resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operation of applications.

Documentation

Create and maintain technical documentation related to software architecture, design, and operational procedures.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with product, QA and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.

Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the software development industry. Implement best practices and processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.

Skills & Competencies

Experienced in .NET.
Experienced in C#.
Experienced in a front end framework ideally Angular or comparable.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Organized and task oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Develop maintainable code from written requirements using industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of full stack development experience.
3+ years experience in C# and .NET
3+ years experience in SQL Server.

Assets

Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar SCRUM workflow
Experience in the hospitality industry or point of sale software.
Experience with Azure
Experience with microservice architecture
Experience with Docker
