Job description

For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Senior VAT Specialist role.

Your role

Senior VAT Specialist is responsible for:

  • Assisting the VAT team in submitting final VAT returns (UK, UAE, KSA, Singapore, Ireland)
  • Supporting international remote working processes on a timely basis
  • Supporting the leader and team in other business tax related tasks
  • Making sure weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports are prepared according to the process and agreed schedule
  • Providing support to the team leaders, finance managers and AP teams in terms of VAT correctness
  • Ensuring high quality process documentation (SOPs)
  • Acting as a back up to Tax Advisor in terms of process coordination between team members

Your experience

  • 2 - 5+ years of professional experience preferably in a Shared Service/BPO.
  • Understanding of tax rules, compliance, and reporting.
  • Complex and broad VAT knowledge. Knowledge of WHT is an advantage.
  • Customer focused and service orientated
  • Quality oriented, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to understand complex matters
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Flexible, with ability to cope with changing priorities
