The Installation Manager role’s main priority is to focus on the execution of various phases of the Installation Process. In addition to partnering with the implementation team there will be regular interaction with sales, support office team members and customers. This individual will be responsible for coordination related to issue & action item follow-ups, scheduling, coordination of field resources supporting the Implementation Team as well as owning installation projects from start to finish.
What You Will Do
The Installation Manager will fulfill multiple duties including but not limited to:
o Internal communication with Sales Team to understand implementation opportunities
o Installation and coordination Lead:
· Map out regional installations.
· Assign tasks and action items from implementation meetings for both internal and external stakeholders.
· Responsible for tracking hours for all installation tasks.
o Site Assessment:
· Physically walk customer sites and visually assess types of containers, placement, count, and upsell opportunities.
· Record information specific to each site assessment and opportunity.
· Communicate detailed information to Sales, and Finance teams.
o Installation Inventory Requests:
· Submittal of inventory requests for rollouts.
· Ensure proper timing and contacts for inventory delivery.
o Liaison to Customer and Support stakeholders.
o Provide Onsite Installation Leadership.
· Communication to customer representatives in advance of installation.
· Outline expectations and mitigate issues as they arise.
· Coordinate personnel during the transition of service, replacing existing sharps management system.
o Installation Fit-Out Submittals:
· Ensure all onsite installed and backup stock is accounted for.
· Work with plant to make sure their servicing stock is accurate and accounted for.
o Training of associate personnel.
o Work with Regional Field Service Manager to meet objectives and support regional field service team ad hoc.
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in business or technology related area.5+ years of Professional Experience in installations Self-motivated, self-directed, problem solver with excellent communication skills.Ability to work independently without direct supervision.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to use basic hand tools such as a drill, screwdriver, hammer, tape measure and level.Willing and able to work weekends when necessary.PC, email, internet, and Microsoft office skills required.Special RequirementsPhysical Requirements:Lift containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Push/pull wheeled transporters and/or palletized product up to approximately 300 lbs.Occasionally travel up and down staircases.Walking of two (2) or more miles per day.Standing for extended periods of time.Work in and around hospital personnel, sensitive medical equipment, and patients.Other Requirements:Must be willing to travel. 50-80%Must have access to reliable transportation.
