Job description

The Clover Care Services organization delivers proactive support and care to our members through our Clover Home Care teams, and quality improvement services to our aligned insurance plan providers through our practice engagement team. We have built one of the most proactive, data-driven health care services platforms in New Jersey and are excited about the future of technology and how it impacts our ability to bring transformative results to both patients and providers.

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Physician Practice Operations based in New Jersey to drive business and market development initiatives for our managed-care service operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with a “doer” mentality and deep connections in the New Jersey healthcare market that’s looking to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing healthcare technology company.

As a Vice President, Physician Practice Operations, you will:

  • Lead business development and physician onboarding activity for Clover Care Services in New Jersey including developing, articulating, and executing a growth plan for Counterpart Assistant in the region.
  • Expand our existing partner base through leveraging your existing network and generating and qualifying new leads.
  • Manage and drive performance with our existing partners; forecast and hit weekly target metrics; travel to clinical practices and facilities within the state to meet directly with physicians, administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Partner with leadership, internal finance and legal teams to negotiate and execute deals.
  • Oversee the short and long term success of our accounts by setting and tracking key metrics and managing a team of Customer Success professionals responsible for day-to-day account management and provider enablement.
  • Collect feedback on services and offerings within the market and relay information back to our product development teams.

You should get in touch if:

  • You live in New Jersey and have deep business development experience and a strong healthcare network within the state. Flexible to regularly travel within the region.
  • You have experience in market analysis, lead generation, contract negotiation, and deal execution.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience with value-based care agreements, including shared risk models.
  • You have well-developed leadership skills and the ability to set and communicate clear goals, influence, collaborate and motivate others. Experience overseeing a team of account managers or customer success associates is a plus.
  • You deeply understand the healthcare industry, including the needs and challenges of clinicians and healthcare providers.
  • You are comfortable working in a hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” role.
