Future cars are going to be more and more electrified and the power management and energy network  is undergoing significant changes. Therefore we are looking for the region EMEA for an Automotive Business Development Manager for Electrification, with responsibility for developing and executing strategies to build up the required ecosystem and maximize NXP content for the automotive megatrends Autonomous Driving, Connectivity and specifically Electrification at OEM’s and Tier1’s.

As a member of our European automotive sales team, you will have the chance to coordinate activities for the new SDV architecture electrification trends. You will present our leading capabilities to customers, create system solutions, and prepare workshops. This role provides the opportunity to drive significant business opportunities and coordinate from the concept stage at an OEM to production ramp at the ecosystem partner. Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact and regional subject-matter-expert for electrification initiatives.
• Promotes NXPs electrification solution value propositions to customer decision makers and ecosystem partner and translates the NXP solutions to an OEM system solution for given system pain points 
• ‘Trusted Advisor’ to the customer and automotive ecosystem for electrification and NXP Strategy ownership and contribution for automotive electrification concepts
• Collaborate with business lines, technology, product, and development teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Coordinate with Account Managers to provide customized solutions to automotive application concerns.
• Engage in business development activities to expand the company's market share in the electrification segment.

Your Profile:

• Solid background in Electrical Engineering (Analog/Digital) with deep technical knowledge about automotive electrification trends, the related ecosystem, involved partner and supply chain.
• Strong OEM and/or Tier1 background and  understanding of automotive design architecture, Power Management, and Driver and Energy Systems.
• Experience with OEM & Tier 1 collaboration projects, being able to drive visionary ideas
• Open mindset for new technology trends and driving and adapting to new ecosystem based around electrification and new power networks (48V).
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the automotive industry, specifically in electrification, is highly preferred
• Very strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in both German and English
• High degree of flexibility, motivation and customer focus, with strong negotiation skills to moderate between OEM and Tier1’s as well as internal functions for technical, commercial and administrative topics
• Accountability and autonomy are required for this job
• Willing to travel (mostly Germany, but including EMEA and WW)
• Team player
