As the Marketing Manager at Marmon Utility, you will be at the forefront of leading the company’s marketing efforts across the power distribution and transmission markets we serve. If you have a strong background and passion for business-to-business marketing, a deep understanding of the manufacturing landscape, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives that will enhance our brand visibility and drive business growth using your creativity and experience, this role is ideal for you

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Implement a customer focused strategy raising awareness of market opportunities and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
  • ·Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform marketing plans
  • Coordinate marketing strategies with the product management, sales, finance, engineering and
  • operations functions within the business Build strong and lasting relationships with industry partners, associations, and influencers
  • Generate new business leads through targeted campaigns and marketing events
  • Organize promotional events and coordinate day-of deliveries and staffing
  • Develop creative and influential briefings that are leveraged to initiate and guide projects with the sales teams or sales agency partners
  • Lead communication plans and execution of new product launches across all channels.
  • Conduct various levels market research and analysis using multiple forms of data and customer inputs
  • Develop, administer and present various reports and metrics that will allow for our key business
  • decisions to be made and to optimize marketing and pricing strategies Identify potential new markets and a strategy to successfully enter them
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution in order to increase Hendrix and Kerite brand awareness and market share
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS

  • A four-year college degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business Administration, or other related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic marketing, in a business-to-business and/or manufacturing related role. Creative, entrepreneurial, and will thrive in a growing and fast-paced environment
  • Willing to innovative and bring exciting marketing strategies to meet business goals
  • Experience in website design and other creative content development
  • Proven ability to lead a small team of marketing professionals
  • You are willing to travel to engage with employees and customers. You are able to travel up to 50% of
  • the time and occasionally take extended trips that could include weekends. You have a high level of financial and business acumen.
  • You display executive presence to influence senior decision makers, and have outstanding written and
  • oral communication skills
  • Exposure to the Utility industry; technical knowledge of electrical utilities, distribution systems, products, etc. is a plus, but not required
  • You have excellent analytical, time management and problem-solving skills.
