Job Title: Senior AWS Network Engineer
Location: Remote / Near Shore
Duration: 6 months (potential to renew for 12 months based on qualifications & performance)

We are seeking an experienced AWS Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and services. As an AWS Network Engineer, he/she will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our AWS network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Configure and manage AWS networking services and tools, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Route 53.
- Apply network security best practices and implement robust security measures to protect AWS environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design network architectures that meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations and architectures.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on network-related queries and best practices.
- Stay current with AWS updates and industry trends to continuously improve network infrastructure and practices.
Key Skills:
- Domain Expertise: AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification preferred.
- Proven experience implementing and maintaining AWS network infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, IPSec VPN, and BGP.
- Hands-on experience with AWS networking services and tools.
- Proficiency in network security best practices and tools.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto security products (Next Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma) is recommended.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
