Senior Laravel Developer (LATAM)

What We're Looking For:

We are recruiting candidates who are 100% freelancers—those who manage their own clients and projects independently, without being employed as full-time employees or contractors in any company. Our AFL is exclusively for professionals based in Spanish-speaking Latin American countries, and it’s essential to note that this is not a job opening for an immediate project. Instead, we are building our pool of talent for when relevant projects arise.

1. Initial Screening Interview – We assess your fit for our future opportunities.
   
2. Technical Test – Demonstrate your expertise through a practical assessment.
   
3. Tech Interview (Project-Specific) – When a relevant project becomes available, we’ll invite you to a technical interview specific to that opportunity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Laravel Developer with a strong portfolio of Laravel-based projects including the use of Sanctum authentication.
  

• Proficiency in Linux Ubuntu server management.
  

• Expertise in configuring and optimising Nginx.
  

• Strong commitment to security best practices and experience in securing web applications.
  

• Expertise in PHP and MySQL.
  

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  

• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  

• Native Spanish and at least B2 English.
  

Responsibilities:

As a Laravel Developer at Creamos, you will be responsible for:

• Laravel Development: Building and maintaining robust web applications using Laravel, ensuring their high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
  

• Sanctum Integration: Utilizing your expertise in Sanctum to implement secure authentication and authorization processes for our applications.
  

• Server Management: Managing Linux Ubuntu servers, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, to ensure optimal system performance.
  

• Nginx Configuration: Configuring and optimising Nginx web server for efficient web application delivery and security.
  

• Security Focus: Implementing best practices for web application security, including data encryption, input validation, and protection against common security threats.
  

• Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
