We’re looking for new adjusters based in the for our Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Peterborough regional team who can display the key attributes highlighted above. The Role:
As an experienced loss adjuster you will investigate and agree losses on behalf of specialist rural insurance companies. You will meet their customers and assess their property and financial losses. These claims could range from damage to domestic homes, commercial property, agriculture and potentially anything in between.
You`ll work as part of a specialist team of loss adjusters and claim professionals. You will be supported by a dedicated, local team of experienced staff, all focused on delivering an unrivalled customer experience.
You will be responsible for effectively managing a caseload and meeting all client expectations as well as maintaining and developing support from specialist rural Insurance brokers and agents.
You`ll be given full autonomy to use your initiative, empathy and understanding to customers - literally putting yourself in their shoes, but also using your business acumen to provide the right outcome.
Our adjusters adopt a mix of site, home and office-based working throughout the week which helps support a healthy work/life balance. You will also be required to engage and work with multiple internal and external specialists, so excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate various parties are essential, whilst always ensuring you have kept the customer fully updated at all times. When you do spend time in our office, you’ll experience bright and open surroundings which offer excellent areas for collaboration as well as desk space. It’s an ideal environment for working alongside and interacting with fellow colleagues.
Whilst you will be comfortable working on your own, you’ll be a core part of our extensive team of adjusters, and you will have dedicated team-based technical and managerial support working alongside you to assist with the management of your portfolio and join you in the delivery of the exceptional customer service we demand. Systems training will be available as required and we will also provide appropriate support for remote (home) working if necessary.
You will have/will be:
DIP CII, CILA or ACILA would be advantageous
Knowledge and experience within Insurance, Claims Management or Loss Adjusting
An effective and confident communicator with the ability to forge strong working relationships
Conscientious and hard working to achieve and exceed the required results
Flexible and adaptable during busy periods particularly as a result of major weather events
Committed to strive toward the delivery of "Absolute Customer Satisfaction"
A full UK Driving Licence is essential
