The purpose of the Senior Director, Analytics EMEA position is to grow revenue through market and client development activities and increase adoption of HIMSS analytics services in the region with clients in both the private and public sectors, including government partners at national, regional and local levels. This position will advise HIMSS EMEA leadership in the exploration, development and refinement of the products/services portfolio. The Senior Director, Analytics will maintain a qualified prospect pipeline of new clients and business opportunities and drive sales revenue by cultivating and managing relationships within the prospect’s organization; will be a trusted advisor to meet customer needs as well as plan ongoing account strategy for the development and growth of long-term business partnerships. Additionally, this position will identify and negotiate with new and existing partners to extend the reach of HIMSS’s products and services into the marketplace.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Lead business development and client delivery for all analytic services in market to support the measures of benefits of improved digital maturity in communities.
  • Maintain advanced understanding of the market sector; identify and define the current market and identify future potential markets and product opportunities.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop HIMSS’ unique selling propositions and differentiators. Create targeted sales strategies and campaigns, approaches and communication to achieve annual sales goals relating to new clients and business opportunities. 
  • Present information on business trends that lead to the development of new products/services and program needs, positioning, pricing, and distribution channels supporting and attracting customers to executive leadership. Provide guidance and direct budget creation for new business initiatives across Analytics International
  • Support innovation in the development of new maturity models and analytic services to meet community demand over time
  • Support adoption of other related HIMSS services, including membership, workforce education, events and thought leadership – working in close co-ordination with relevant teams across HIMSS.
  • Lead and build capability in the EMEA team through a country specific approach.
What you will need to be successful::
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology, or health-care related field.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of directly related work experience required; experience in digital healthcare technology preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading virtual teams to a high level of success and achieving results in a complex environment.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and then operationalize to achieve goals.
  • Advanced understanding of the digital health ecosystem and its stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with strong personal integrity.
