Senior Advanced Geospatial Technology Partner Manager

Position Summary:
Bentley (BSY) is seeking a Senior Advanced Geospatial Technology Partner Manager to join our Ecosystem and Ventures team. In this role, you will identify geospatial technologies by performing comprehensive market and ecosystem analysis of ISVs, private startups, and open-source technologies.
You will partner with Bentley’s product leaders to put together an overall strategy for industry and ecosystem engagement to enable easy integration of emerging technologies into Bentley’s solutions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to articulate the value proposition for these new technologies, facilitate access to partner technology leadership, support the development of technical and product architecture and negotiate the necessary business and commercial agreements for maximum ROI.
Your Day-to-Day:

Evaluate emerging geospatial technology trends and identify relevant engagement opportunities. Build new technology business cases along with product, industry, engineering, and other stakeholders to showcase value propositions.

Act as an advisor to key product and technology decision makers to articulate and support the development of long-term Geospatial strategy including closing current gaps, competitive assessment, integration plan and GTM strategies working with product and leads in each area.

Build partnership development plan(s) and document mapped actions to a successful, long-term, and bilateral partnership engagement.

Be responsible for creative agreement structuring, discussing agreements, and agreement closure to secure geospatial engagements and partnerships.
What You Bring to The Team:
- Minimum Education Requirements: BS/BA Degree or Equivalent in Business, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in a combination of product management, strategy, consulting or business development for a BIM / geospatial or reality capture solutions including:
- Google Maps, Google Earth, Google Earth Engine
- Hexagon’s GeoMedia or Geo Platform solutions - LuciadFusion, LuciadLightspeed
- Cadcorp’s Spatial Information Systems
- Trimble’s Geospatial
- ESRI’s ArcGIS
- Precisely’s Spectrum offerings and MapInfo Pro
- Demonstrated experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating schedules and timelines
- Experience in interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in strategic planning, commercials agreement negotiations and partnerships desired.
- Familiarity with open-sources GIC software including Whitebox Geospatial, QGIX is a plus.
- 30% travel required.
