We are looking for a ‘Technical Sales Specialist – Applications and Image Analysis’ to join the Lunaphore sales team. The role will primarily focus on selling spatial biology consumables, reagents, image analysis software solutions, and instrument service contracts, to academia, biopharma, biotech, and contract research organizations. The role involves supporting our customers across the EMEA region as well as initially also in the US. It requires a solid technical foundation with knowledge of spatial biology, including immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, in-situ hybridization, or other tissue biomarker analysis applications, an excellent business acumen, and a good experience in managing and expanding existing customer accounts. As the first Technical Sales Specialist for Applications and Image Analysis in the organization, the role will include setting up and rolling out new strategies and tactics to meet customer needs globally. Key Responsibilities
• Achieve assigned territory sales quotas
• Develop and execute regional, territory, and account-specific sales strategies
• Drive reagents, consumables, image analysis software and instrument service contract sales from initial engagement to closing
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers to drive sales objectives and exceed targets
• Engage with and qualify new leads to generate new sales opportunities
• Perform territory analytics to identify trends and then using this information to drive
incremental growth
• Attend conferences, events, and seminars and present key products and applications
• Develop a strong technical knowledge of Lunaphore product portfolio and the corresponding spatial biology landscape, and be able to deliver meaningful presentations and insights to scientists working across a wide range of applications, and research stages
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Instrument Sales, Application Support, Marketing…) to provide world-class customer satisfaction
• Identify and share relevant market feedback
• Maintain an accurate sales forecast, track, and report sales activities in CRM
• This position includes frequent traveling to customer sites (50-70%) and occasional traveling to company headquarter
