About the Role:

The SoftwareOne Marketplace Platform Team is on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) who is passionate about technology and eager to make a significant impact. As part of our 60-strong engineering team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving the evolution of SoftwareOne’s online Marketplace, client interfaces, internal integrations, and external vendor relations.

The Role:

• Closely collaborate with other team members (frontend, backend and QA) and product management to deliver value to our stakeholders.
• Together with other engineers and architects, design and implement performant applications in a service-oriented architecture landscape.
• Participate in technical design reviews, peer code review, retrospectives and business design sessions.
• Be a tireless advocate of code quality and business representation.
• Operate as an empathetic communicator, in order to understand and offer understanding in a highly collaborative environment.

What We Need To See From You:

• Multi year experience in a product driven engineering function, ideally using .NET
• Experienced creating robust, performant RESTful applications
• Exposure to building/supporting open source projects, SDKs and public APIs for the wider developer community and third-party system integrators
• Practical experience of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes and general DevOps-forward working environments
• Experience of working in a multi-team organisation with multiple workstreams within a shared product landscape
