Enterprise Data Architect

This is a remote position.

Our client, a leading global IT service provider,is recruiting for an Enterprise Data Architect to join their business in the UK.

Key Responsibility : 

• Design and implement enterprise data architectures that meet business requirements and industry standards.
  

• Lead data integration efforts using technologies like OT, Kafka, and others.
  

• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data consistency and quality.
  

• Provide hands-on expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and data governance.
  

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and make recommendations for adoption.
  

• Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture documentation and diagrams.
  

• Participate in data-related projects and initiatives, providing guidance and oversight as needed.
  

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  

• Manage multiple dependencies and priorities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of enterprise data architecture projects.
  

• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear and concise guidance on data architecture decisions.
  

• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction on enterprise data architecture.
  

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise data architecture roadmap.
  

• Ensure data architecture aligns with business strategy and goals.
  

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on hands-on implementation and integration.
  

• Strong expertise in data integration technologies like OT, Kafka, and others.
  

• Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data quality.
  

• Knowledge of data architecture patterns and best practices.
  

• Strong understanding of data landscape and ability to provide foresight and advice on data architecture decisions.
  

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
  

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  

• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  

• Certification in data architecture or related fields.
  

• Experience with agile project management methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
  

• Experience with IT service management frameworks like ITIL.
