The ideal candidate will possess a rich network within the BFSI/CPG/Retail sectors, coupled with exceptional networking abilities, to seamlessly transition from lead generation to deal closure.

The essence of this position lies in enhancing the return on investment from substantial personnel and promotional endeavours. A strategic mindset is crucial, as the role demands the formulation and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy, aligned with the organisation's growth ambitions.

Success in this role is measured by the attainment of sales targets, contributing to the profitable expansion of the business. Collaboration with fellow Sales Directors is key to integrate best practices and drive performance within the UK operation, as well as across the group.

The Business Development Director will be instrumental in providing insightful reports to stakeholders and senior management, showcasing sales achievements and milestones. Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, is paramount, as is embodying the company's values and culture.

Candidates must be proactive self-starters with substantial experience in client management and a history of working in culturally diverse environments. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are essential, with the ability to engage with C-level executives. Articulate, numerate, and capable of presenting to board level, applicants should have an impressive track record in managing sales organisations, preferably within high-growth companies.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering is required, with an MBA being highly desirable. At least 10 years of business development experience in the technology industry is expected.
