Seneca Global Services, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer II who will support the client's IT infrastructure design activities required during the IT modernization program lifecycle.  This is a remote role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Review all technical documentation, verify all installations and configurations, participate in testing and adjudications, and make recommendations to the government as to the acceptability of the content and completeness of such products for certification and payment to the Contractor.

Infrastructure oversight is responsible for ensuring overall integrity of the health IT infrastructure. This function also facilitates the use of new technology and software of Health IT Modernization Program–acquired solutions and works closely with IT staff who are implementing or creating computer programs for the new technology.

Tasks associated with infrastructure oversight include:

  • Perform oversight and direction for infrastructure design and implementation
  • Review all infrastructure-related artifacts to ensure completeness and consistency across the Health IT Modernization Program
  • Provide infrastructure configuration management for designs, hardware configurations, and software
  • Review and provide input on any proposed changes to the infrastructure baseline
  • Establish standards for interfacing with the Program infrastructure
  • Provide review and oversight to ensure that new infrastructure components are adequately tested

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors; or MS / MA in Information Technology or related field and 6-8 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, adaptable to change, and thrive in an atmosphere that requires trust, initiative, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet the demands of a challenging operations environments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to articulate intent, frame requirements, set priorities, develop practical methods, and align resources to meet goals
  • Proven ability and willingness to learn new technologies, strong problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges
  • Sets objectives for own job area to meet project/assignments goals
  • Ability to operate independently or with little direct oversight: reliable, trustworthy, committed to success

Desired Skills:

  • Active Security Clearance
  • Experience working with IT infrastructure supporting clinical operations
