Job Summary

The Account Executive State Markets is a strategic role responsible for the management of LIBERTY's key accounts, specifically focusing on contracts associated with the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).

 

In addition to client relationship management, this role requires a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, DHCS requirements, and the ability to organize, execute, and implement contract obligations. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement business strategies, maintain and strengthen client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and manage contract renewals, expansions, and RFP processes.

 

Must be located in the state of California.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic partnerships to continuously improve our business relationships with our customers to retain and optimize the partnership potential in each account.
  • Serve as liaison between client and other company departments.
  • Supports implementation team to ensure new and expanding client implementations runs smoothly.
  • Preparing for and participating in broker educational events and open enrollment meetings.
  • Ensures timely and meaningful data reporting to clients.
  • Maintain contact with assigned clients on a regular schedule via phone, correspondence and in person to monitor and enhance service.
  • Implements new product offerings.
  • Consults with clients on regulatory issues affecting plan.
  • Represents company at client, industry or professional meetings/events.
  • Helping resolve escalated group/member issues.
  • Ensure interactions remain positive and professional with all persons with whom you interact in the course of your work both internally and externally.
  • Support coordination of reporting and auditing requirements due to clients

 

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and successful work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Account Management and/or Contract Management; must have familiarity working with key client accounts.
  • Extensive experience in the dental or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on Medicare/Medicaid.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and DHCS requirements.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects.
  • Dental/Healthcare industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Extremely organized and motivated.
  • Client relationship skills - ability to develop strong professional relationships.
  • Results driven - focused on producing high-quality services and deliverables.
  • Dental industry knowledge a plus.
  • Strong influential skills.
  • Proficient in Spanish preferred
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Data analysis skills
  • Strategic marketing experience

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at Liberty, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.  In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer.  Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.  Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
