Your Day-to-Day
In this role, you will collaborate with a skilled team of software developers to design, scale and deliver new features and services. Working closely with your Tech Lead, Product Manager, and Scrum Master, you’ll ensure efficient delivery and maintain a healthy team dynamic. We expect you to champion best practices in both design and coding, with a strong emphasis on quality, organization, and automation.
Your Skills & Experience
● 5 + years of back-end development experience
● Experience with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Symfony
○ Experience with Yii Framework is a plus
● Experience building REST API’s
○ Familiar with JSON Schemas, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth
● Comfortable with AWS services such as SQS and Lambdas
○ Knowledge of Node JS and TypeScript is a plus
● Practical experience optimizing relational databases, preferably MySQL
● Experience writing tests (Unit, Integration and Functional tests)
● Experience working in an agile environment/squad.
● Ability to lead by example, influencing and mentoring junior developers
● Good communicator, you understand your job goes beyond only coding your tickets
● Self-starter with a lot of initiative; we won’t be watching your every move, show us what you’ve got!
