Job description

This is a remote position.

Based in the greater Washington, D.C. area with team members across the United States, Piedmont Global Language Solutions (PGLS) is backed by 30+ years of combined experience in Translation, Interpretation, and security Analysis. Piedmont Global Language Solutions (PGLS) is looking for freelance Pidgin English (Nigerian or French preferred) transcribers .

Job Description:

Transcribe foreign language high quality audio into written English. Some files may require a small amount of written translation. You may choose to accept or decline the translation projects.

All linguists will be required to complete a short assessment as part of the vetting process after the necessary clearance is granted.

Requirements

1+ year (s) of experience of translating, transcribing, or interpreting from the requested language into English.
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust background determination.
Clearance requires a background check, drug test and credit check.
