Job Description

THE POSITION: ▪ As an EDI Developer, you’ll be working on solutions, development and testing for our EDI initiatives. You’ll collaborate with our account management teams, along with our IT project team, to develop EDI solutions for new clients and enhance EDI solutions for existing clients. You’ll collaborate with our internal operations, infrastructure, and support teams, taking ownership of critical issues and managing them through resolution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are best achieved by:
▪ Develop and translate requirements into technical design and develop comprehensive solutions to interface with client systems.
▪ Design efficient and reusable technical solutions to meet client and business partner EDI needs.
▪ Produce elegant code to meet design specifications using X12 Standards, XML, AS2, (S)FTP and other technologies.
▪ Minimize risk and maximize opportunities by communicating issues and proposed resolutions to project stakeholders, as well as escalating issues to leadership as needed. ▪ Provide efficient and effective production support, involving other functional teams as needed.
▪ Look for continuous improvement for our development processes for the EDI platform, using industry-standard and emerging practices.
▪ Build and maintain great working relationships with peer teams and business users.
▪ All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
▪ This position requires a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on development experience with EDI technologies.
▪ Proficiency with AS2, XML, (S)FTP and similar communications technologies.
▪ Development and system admin experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Gentran: Server for Windows.
▪ Bachelor-level degree, preferably in Information Technology.
▪ Ability, and willingness to work from 9.30 PM to 7.30 AM IST – THIS IS MANDATORY (Shift allowance will be given)
