As a Performance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software and systems perform efficiently under various conditions. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to identify and address any performance bottlenecks, ultimately contributing to the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development teams to understand system architecture and design performance test plans accordingly
Execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests to identify system weaknesses
Develop and maintain performance testing scripts using industry-standard tools
Analyze test results to identify performance issues and work with cross-functional teams to address them
Utilize performance monitoring tools to identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks
Provide recommendations for improving system performance and scalability
Document test plans, test cases, and test results
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in performance testing
Participate in the continuous improvement of the performance testing process
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in performance testing and analysis
Proficiency in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or NeoLoad
Strong scripting skills using tools such as Python, Shell, or JavaScript
Ability to analyze and interpret performance data to make recommendations
Experience with performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics or New Relic
Knowledge of database systems and SQL for performance analysis
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
Proactive and detail-oriented approach to performance testing
