Job description

Quality Controller India

Company Profile: A French Brand into lifestyle products (Home Décor, Artifacts, Textiles etc…)

Location: Work from Home + Regular travel to visit suppliers in Delhi, Jaipur, Moradabad

Job Mission: Regularly Traveling between the different production sites, you will be responsible for the finished product in relation to the specifications established by the company.

•You will certify the conformity of manufactured parts with the technical documentation.

•In constant liaison with the development team and the supply chain based in France, you will be responsible for reporting on production schedules.

•Ensure confidentiality of production data and files in India.

•Ensure compliance with manufacturing deadlines contracted with the various manufacturers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Carry out inspection surveys (aspect / dimensions...)

•Check compliance of manufacturing with rules and procedures.

•Draw up conformity control documents

•Suggest improvements (technical, process, etc.)

•Provide technical support to operators and departments

•Isolate non-compliant or suspect products

•Write up any manufacturing disputes

•Propose corrective and preventive actions

•Carry out regular reporting on production rates

•Ensure compliance with production schedules

•Alert the company to any deviation in production, planning or conformity

•Ensure goods departure

•Monitor the shipment of goods from the supplier to the port of departure India

•Check application of safety rules and company values

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

•Candidates with a strong understanding of Sourcing, Production supervision, Quality Control, Supplier management, Shipment management from a Home decor, artifacts or textiles export industry

•3-5 yrs of work experience from Export Industry who brings strong Project Management skills and will be responsible for managing & developing the supplier base in India.

•The candidate must be proficient in Forecasting and Budgeting, Production Supervision.

•An autonomous worker with high levels of ethical standards.
