We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Vice President of Product Management to lead our Talent Management System. As the VP of Product Management, you will set the product vision, drive execution, and collaborate with everyone from engineering to sales to make this portfolio of products valuable for our customers and our business.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the Talent Management System, aligning with NEOGOV's overall business objectives and market demands.
  • Product Development : Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of new features and enhancements.
  • Market Analysis : Continuously conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and use this information to inform product decisions.
  • Customer Focus: Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, ensuring that our Talent Management System meets their needs and exceeds expectations.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, support, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of product initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the portfolio of products and make data-driven decisions.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent NEOGOV at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, positioning the company as a thought leader in the HR technology space.

What You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully leading a portfolio of HR technology products with $75M+ in ARR.
  • Strong understanding of talent management processes and HR technology landscape.
  • Proven experience in managing and scaling high-performing product management teams of 10 or more members, with a hands-on approach to leadership and a track record of driving team success.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Passion for innovation and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
