Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop and enhance a customer-facing content portal and accompanying API. This role involves front-end engineering, designing, and building additional user-friendly features into the existing Emerging Threats (ET) Intelligence Portal. The ideal candidate will write code using Java and Python to produce various new user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the customer-facing content portal.
• Design and implement additional user-friendly features for the ET Intelligence Portal.
• Write code in Java and Python to create new user interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RESTful APIs and databases.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience in Python development.
• 3+ years of experience in front-end development for websites.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and integrating with RESTful APIs and databases.
  
  

Technical Competencies

• Required:
• JavaScript / React
• NodeJS / NPM / Express
• Python 2 / 3
• Git / Other version control systems
• CSS / CSS Libraries and Frameworks
• Highly Desired:
• AWS SDK
• Scala
• Redis
• MySQL
• Good to Have:
• Previous experience with Drupal
  
  

Educational Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3+ years of recent relevant work experience.
• Or, 5+ years of recent relevant technical experience.
