Job description

Standard Metrics, formerly known as Quaestor, is an automated financial collaboration platform that helps investors and founders to move faster together and make better, forward-facing decisions. We're a full-time team of product builders, investors, and optimists, rebuilding investor relations from the ground up. Come Build With Us

Standard Metrics is looking for an experienced Content Marketer to help us grow our brand, create amazing content and unlock new channels for customer acquisition. You will be an expert on our customers, the market, and the competition, and will use this knowledge to develop compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audience.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Create compelling content and thought leadership assets for all stages of the funnel, including data-driven reports, whitepapers, blogs, newsletters, and videos to help build our brand
  • Support field readiness through the development and delivery of sales assets, including sell sheets and pitch decks
  • Develop solution-specific marketing programs to different personas and across channels
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic visibility and drive targeted traffic to the website
  • Collaborate with product management and sales to bring competitive solutions to market
  • Help manage the company website and social media platforms
  • Manage relationships with related vendors/agencies (PR, Web, SEO)
  • Review and evaluate agency performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and identifying areas for improvement
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of content marketing experience across a variety of content types including long-form content (thought leadership pieces, case studies), short-form content (customer announcements), and messaging for our Revenue team
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills with a proven ability to craft compelling content that resonates with our target audience
  • Enough familiarity with the VC finance ecosystem to speak the language of our customer
  • Experience independently developing and owning a content calendar across multiple channels and content types (newsletters, video channel, social, etc)
  • Familiarity with lead-nurturing practices to attract and build audiences with hyper-relevant content
  • Experience building trusted relationships with executives and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across various teams
  • Deep understanding of how to measure content's impact and connect it to business outcomes, using data-driven insights to optimize content strategies

For our employees, located in the USA, we aim to pay at or above the market rate of US-based tech hubs like San Francisco or NYC. For international roles, we aim to pay top of market for your country. The estimated annual salary for this role is between $115,000-$150,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Health and dental insurance: We cover you and your family's medical/dental/vision insurance 100% in the USA. Internationally we match local health coverage for you and your family.

Flexible vacation: Take time off when you need it! We find most employees take 3-4 weeks in addition to holidays, but there are no firm rules. We trust our employees to know what's best for them.

Paid parental leave: 12 weeks of paid leave for all new parents in the USA. Internationally we match parental leave standards in your area.

Complete transparency: Everyone has full access to business metrics and financial information about the company.

Regular offsites: While we are a remote first company and build our communication, processes, and structures with a dispersed workforce in mind, we also love getting the team together. On a recurring basis, we fly the whole team out to an exciting destination to plan, bond, and innovate.

We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't perfectly align with the job description as we seek out diverse and creative perspectives. Team members who love to learn and collaborate in an inclusive environment will thrive with us. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
