Job description

Position Title: Sales and Marketing Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

Maintaining numerous daily & weekly analytical reports which track the various KPI’s of the company’s sales and marketing efforts. Track the conversion matrix’s and effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and how they affect the overall sales team performance. Assisting in the creation of ad hoc reports and conducting analysis and research upon request. Be the introductory point-of-contact for sales departments report strategies.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Reviews and updates complex data sets and performs analysis to help determine results, trends, and variances to target.
  • Assists in analyzing metrics, key performance indicators (KPI’s) and return on investment (ROI) as requested to help optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Collects, organizes, and analyzes large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Assists in the tracking, measurement, reporting, and analysis of all marketing metrics against defined performance targets, leveraging data from various data sources.
  • Analyze sales performance data, including KPIs such as conversion rates, sales cycle lengths, and customer acquisition costs. Provide recommendations to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Effectively uses various software applications such as spreadsheets and relational databases to manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
  • Provides preliminary review of potential marketing opportunities received via telephone and e- mail.
  • Track and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns. Provide reports and recommendations for optimization.
  • Adheres to work schedule.
  • Employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
SKILLS
  • High level of knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel required; basic proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
  • Numbers-oriented with analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-driven with great teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time and multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail while collecting and interpreting large amounts of data
  • Speaks and writes clearly, informatively, and professionally

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or other quantitative/related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant sales and marketing experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel including advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.
  • Analytical and quantitative, with strong attention to detail

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

Regularly required to sit, speak, and listen; occasionally required to stand.
