Job Summary / Purpose:


As the Sr. Financial Analyst you will work directly with the Head of Financial Planning, & Analysis; Strategy to prepare financial models for management to support decision making. These will include strategic plans, budgets, forecasts and various ad hoc analyses. In addition, you will help produce internal management reporting including key metrics and analyze variances to plan and key business trends. This is a full-time remote role where you will be expected to be available to work during specific working hours (8am-5pm).


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help update financial models for 100+ locations

  • Analyze financial performance vs. forecast, vs. plan, and vs. prior year and effectively communicate results

  • Help prepare monthly data reporting packages that includes analysis of key business trends and actual versus plan variances, including comprehensive explanations of differences as well as the impact of business drivers to budget/forecast

  • Assist with value-added analysis and provide decision support for special projects and initiatives

  • Make recommendations regarding cost saving or profitability improvement strategies

  • Streamline existing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes

  • Produce routine and ad hoc financial operational models to support senior management in decision making

  • Assists with maintenance and administration financial planning tools/software

  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Required Skills, Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in finance or accounting; and a minimum of 3-5 years related financial analysis experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in financial analysis

  • Practical experience in financial modeling and forecasting

  • Understanding of GAAP in a standard cost environment

  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

  • Strong ERP and financial systems background required (Netsuite or similar ERP preferred)

  • Experience utilizing Business Intelligence tools (Tableau or similar) to efficiently process and update reporting and forecasting models

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills & strong attention to detail with a conviction for meeting deadlines

  • Highly assertive and ability to lead from a sense of responsibility, rather than authority

  • Self-starter; able to drive results with minimal direction

  • Excellent organizational skills

Salary range: $110k- $115k/yr plus 10% annual bonus opportunity
