The Opportunity:

Reporting to the VP, Pharma Partnerships and Customer Experience, the Proposal Writer is primarily responsible for researching, writing, and editing proposals, ensuring they align with client needs and project requirements.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • RFP Analysis: Review and analyze RFP requirements to ensure full compliance and understanding of the project scope, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the development of high-quality, persuasive, and competitive proposals, including writing, editing, and formatting content.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights for proposal content.
  • Research: Conduct research to gather relevant information, data, and case studies to support proposal content and demonstrate company capabilities.
  • Content Management: Develop and maintain a library of proposal templates, standard content, and best practices to streamline the proposal development process.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and meet all RFP requirements. Perform thorough reviews and edits to ensure clarity, consistency, and professionalism.
  • Submission Coordination: Manage the proposal submission process, including scheduling, production, and delivery to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
  • Post-Submission Follow-Up: Assist in post-submission activities, such as responding to clarification requests and preparing for presentations or interviews as needed.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager


What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal writing, preferably in response to RFPs in healthcare, patient support programs or pharmaceuticals
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with proposal management tools and software is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, error-free documents under tight deadlines.
  • Research Abilities: Strong research skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
