What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify, qualify, nurture and follow up on own opportunities, following the established sales process to identify and prioritise target accounts and key decision-makers
  • Build relationships via phone and with compelling email sequences to generate own appointments, leads and manage pipeline
  • Influence decision makers over the telephone about their business marketing issues and operations
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Managers to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and maximise sales opportunities
  • Consistently and regularly use salesforce.com to provide timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of activity
  • Appropriately engage management and staff in the sales cycle and provide ongoing feedback to other areas of the organisation
  • Mentoring and knowledge sharing with newly joined colleagues
  • Being proactive with understanding industry trends and the competitive landscape

Qualifications

  • 1.5+ years in a similar role with a successful track record of exceeding your quota – measured in calls/day, appointments/week, qualification of opportunities, etc
  • Experience in a selling environment with a significant volume of outbound activity
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Willingness to learn and succeed in a high-earning software sales environment
  • Technical ability to understand overall presentations, demos & competitive differentiation
  • A strong desire to keep up-to-date on technology trends, developments & best practices
  • A high level of energy with a very positive phone demeanour
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Recent experience or demonstrative understanding of software technology, marketing automation, eBusiness, CRM software
  • Preferrable experience with Outreach, or another Outbound sequence tool
