Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically autism spectrum disorder
- Implement evidence-based interventions based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, including behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Provide training and support to caregivers and other team members
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and terminology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis methods
- Understanding of medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
