Your role in our team

We are seeking a versatile Automation Engineer with a passion for scouting new features and technologies for machines, coupled with expertise in PLC programming. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in identifying innovative solutions to enhance the functionality, efficiency, and competitiveness of our products, while leveraging your proficiency in PLC programming to implement these solutions effectively

Main Responsabilities


  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in automation, robotics, and related fields, with a focus on applications relevant to our products.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and identify opportunities for incorporating new features and technologies.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of new technologies on existing and future products, considering factors such as performance, cost, and scalability.
  • Lead the development and execution of experiments, proof-of-concepts, and pilot projects to assess the viability and effectiveness of new features and technologies.
  • Utilize your expertise in PLC programming to design and implement control systems, logic, and algorithms for integrating new features and technologies into our products.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and technologies into product development processes, addressing any technical challenges or compatibility issues that may arise.
  • Develop test plans and protocols to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of new features and technologies, leveraging PLC programming for automated testing and data collection.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle, including product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements by attending conferences, seminars, and networking events, and actively contribute insights and recommendations to the team.
  • Document findings, insights, and recommendations for management and stakeholders, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.


Your Profile


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in automation engineering, with a focus on scouting and integrating new features and technologies into products.
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems, robotics, control systems, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram programming.
  • Experience with hardware and software integration, including sensors, actuators, controllers, and communication protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated with advancements in automation and related fields.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, robotics, or automation industry is advantageous.
