Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Customer Data Specialists handle tasks that include, but are not limited to: perusing and qualifying documents and customer-specific information, manually entering data and loading documents into HCD systems, and continuously scrubbing and cleansing customer and referral master data to maintain high system data integrity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Load incoming documents and information into HCD systems manually and via load tools. Collaborate with involved parties to clarify any questionable information.
Validate documents for accuracy/clarity and research / reconcile duplicate documents.
Create customer and referral accounts in HCD systems. This involves reconciling existing accounts and researching to avoid duplication of accounts.
Create new orders and update existing orders with new information received via documents. Properly assign next steps in document flow.
Maintain appropriate level of communication and confidentiality.
Alert supervisor / manager of issues regarding documentation or backlogs.
Expedite service in situations requiring urgent attention as determined by management.
Work independently and/or collaboratively to expediently respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
Perform all other duties as assigned, which may vary at any time with or without notice.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma and/or GED required; Associates in general studies or bachelors degree preferred; One or more years of experience in medical claims/billing, medical office front desk, or patient accounts preferred. Experience in a DME environment a plus.
Experience with data entry regarding customer / patient information a plus.

Internet Requirements

Wireless connects of 4G and 5G are allowed if such connection can meet the above definition for broadband and are able to maintain a sub 100 ms latency for voice.

Candidate must have access to reliable high-speed connection with standard upload/ download spends.
The candidate must ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity during working hours.
