MRT-TCS, Program Management Office (PMO) SME (DPRR, HQ, Arlington, Virginia – (Tele-work authorized)

Strategic Resources, Inc. Overview: The Master Resilience Trainer (MRT), Training Center Support (TCS) PMO SME shall provide input for all training development, implementation, evaluation, and redesign of the MRT-TCS Program. The PMO SME shall be capable of briefing and advising Directorate of Prevention, Resilience and Readiness (DPRR) HQ on the delivery of resilience and performance enhancement as it relates to current and planned curriculum and programs. The PMO SME shall provide their services, as part of the Project Management Office (PMO), directly to DPRR HQ in Arlington, VA. 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the Army Resilience Directorate’s Subject Matter Expert, providing resilience and performance consultation expertise directly to the Directorate of Prevention, Resilience and Readiness (DPRR) HQ in Arlington Virginia.
  • Provide input for all training development, implementation, evaluation, and redesign of the MRT-TCS Program.
  • Briefs and advises DPRR HQ on the delivery of resilience and performance enhancement as it relates to current and planned curriculum and programs.
  • Conducts and attends external meetings, conducts site visits, communicates program metrics to stakeholders.
  • Participates in program update briefings.

Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities:

  • At a minimum possesses a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in the field of Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with specialized emphasis in sport and/or performance psychology.
  • Preferred qualifications include certifications or memberships within a professional association related to their field of study such as the Association for Applied Sports Psychology (AASP), Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) or American Board of Sport Psychology (ABSP)
  • A minimum three years’ experience teaching, coaching, or instructing resilience and performance enhancement skills, philosophies, and competencies.
  • Applicants must successfully undergo a National Agency Check (NAC) with inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 background investigation at the start of work performance, and maintain this level of security throughout the life of the contract.
  • Ability to meet and correspond regularly with a Government counterpart.
  • Experience conducting Quality Control checks and ensuring training requirements are met.
  • Ability to exercise a great deal of independent judgment.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
