Job description

ISTA Personnel Solutions, an outsourcing/offshoring company, is in search of a highly organized and detail-orientated Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in South Africa. We're looking for a team player who is ready to contribute to our mission!

Work Hours: This role requires you to work US based hours (EST) (15h00 - 24h00 SAST).

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Matching up caregivers with appropriate clients.
  • Create personalized schedules and tackle calendar changes.
  • Communicate with clients and caregivers.
  • Schedules patient home visits according to their plan of care and staff accessibility.
  • Create, edit, and disseminate daily patient schedules accordingly.
  • Maintains current employee schedules and updates appropriate database as directed.
  • Responsible for both inbound and outbound calls, handling calls professionally and providing a timely response.
  • Discern patient services required, as outlined in agreements, urgent requests, and care plans.
  • Keeps manager informed of reported changes in patient’s condition or staffing shortages or delays.
  • Documents communication with patients, family, and staff members in the electronic record.
  • Ensures confidentiality of patient care information and documentation.
  • Recognizes and responds to department needs appropriately.
  • Recognize and communicate trends or problems to management.

Skills:

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in scheduling and coordination, preferably within a healthcare or home care setting.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Organized.
  • Empathetic and excellent communication skills.
  • Solutions oriented.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
