Responsibilities

AWS Cloud Management: Lead the design, deployment, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Provisioning Code Optimization: Identify and remove obsolete or redundant code from provisioning scripts to streamline deployment processes.
AWS S3 Storage Management: Manage and optimize S3 storage solutions, ensuring cost-effective and high-performance storage management.
CloudOS Manifest Updates: Update manifests for CloudOS to ensure accurate sizing and optimal configuration for various applications and services.
Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
CI/CD Implementation: Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes.
System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance and operational standards
Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and blockers, and mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and professional growth.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Experience in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience integrating security practices within the DevOps process
Detail-oriented with a focus on optimizing performance and cost.
