Job description

Who Boundless is

We’re a team of immigrants and experts who have struggled with our own journeys through the complex, high-stakes U.S. immigration system. That is why we are building deeply customer-centric products and experiences to become the default trusted partner for all families through their entire immigration journey and their first ten years of life in a new country.

We are now the largest player in the family immigration industry, helping tens of thousands of families every year achieve their dreams, and becoming the first brand in an industry that has never had one before.

We're backed by influential  venture investors around the country, including Foundry Group (led by Brad Feld), Emerson Collective (Laurene Powell Jobs’ foundation), Pioneer Square Labs, Two Sigma Ventures, Trilogy Equity Partners, and Jerry Yang, and are well-capitalized for growth.

Your Mission

At Boundless, we’re revolutionizing the immigration experience for our clients. As Supervising Immigration Counsel, you will be the primary legal and strategic advisor for a portfolio of mid-size and enterprise corporate clients, playing a pivotal role in their immigration journey. This isn’t your typical immigration attorney role; we’re a fast-growing, technology-forward company that thrives on innovation and efficiency. You’ll be empowered to make impactful decisions, lead strategic initiatives, and collaborate across teams to ensure our clients achieve their immigration goals with ease and confidence.

What You Will Do
  • Program Management: Help clients manage their entire immigration programs, offering strategic insights and innovative solutions to complex challenges. Lead initiatives to standardize job descriptions, create comprehensive immigration policies, and train stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, fostering long-term relationships and partnership. We believe great immigration programs are policy-led and involve proactive planning around how the program will scale.
  • Client Strategy and Guidance: Serve as the day-to-day legal point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on immigration matters. Develop tailored strategies for each client's immigration needs, ensuring compliance and maximizing success rates.
  • Case Management Excellence: Set legal strategy for both non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters including H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, PERM, I-140s, EB-1C, and various other corporate immigration case types. Review and approve casework prepared by our legal and support teams before filing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards. Utilize our proprietary technology platform to enhance case management efficiency and client communication. Our goal is to create an infrastructure of people and technology that gives attorneys leverage to think more holistically about the client experience.
  • Client Communication: Maintain a high-touch level of communication and responsiveness with all clients and their international employees.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with Project Managers, Support Representatives, Data Review Specialists, Case Production Specialists, Print Shop and other internal teams to enhance client experiences. Assist with standardization to minimize individual attorney preferences and improve company-wide consistency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of the latest immigration trends and legal changes, integrating new knowledge into client strategies and internal processes. Participate in training sessions and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
About You
  • Legal Expertise: You have 6-10 years of corporate immigration experience and a deep understanding of immigration law. You have a proven track record of managing a high volume of immigration cases, ranging from routine to complex scenarios.
  • Communication Pro: Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills enable you to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Client-Centric Visionary: Your passion for exceptional client service drives you to go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction and success. You are excited by a data-driven approach that allows us to objectively demonstrate the impact of our work on a client’s business.
  • Innovative Problem Solver: You thrive in a dynamic environment, embracing new challenges and opportunities with a proactive mindset.
  • Collaborative Leader: You excel at working cross-functionally, building strong relationships, and driving collective achievements.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid change, maintaining focus and delivering results.
  • Tech-Savvy: You leverage technology to streamline processes and enhance the client experience.
