ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Developer with expertise in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) and Angular, you will focus primarily on 3rd Level support and application maintenance for our esteemed client in the automotive finance sector. Your role will involve troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring the stability and performance of existing applications, and occasionally engaging in smaller development tasks as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 3rd Level Support: Deliver high-level technical support for frontend applications built with Angular and backend services using JEE. Diagnose and resolve complex issues that are beyond the scope of lower support levels, ensuring minimal service disruption.
• Application Maintenance: Manage and optimize existing applications, including implementing updates, patches, and enhancements to maintain efficiency and security.
• Issue Resolution: Analyze and address bugs, performance problems, and system errors in both frontend and backend components. Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement effective solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, issue resolutions, and system changes. Prepare reports and summaries for stakeholders as needed.
• Smaller Developments: While the primary focus is on support and maintenance, contribute to smaller development tasks to enhance or modify existing applications as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to coordinate support efforts and align with broader project goals. Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to support team development.
