Job description

Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is a leading operator of last-mile logistics real estate. Established by Blackstone in 2019, the company connects consumption, technology, and the supply chain across its portfolio, which spans more than half a billion square feet. With more than 5 percent of U.S. GDP flowing through our spaces, we leverage our scale, proprietary data and insights, and foundational focus on sustainability to drive success for our customers’ businesses and deliver value for our stakeholders. Link Logistics strives to be the most equitable and inclusive industrial real estate company in the business. We put our people, customers, and communities first and find ways to make a conscious, positive impact where we live and work, prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across our workforce to deliver an optimal employee experience. Every day, we work to reinvent and lead our industry forward by thinking bigger and challenging the status quo.

Because we believe that good business must be synonymous with doing good, strong environmental, social and governance practices are foundational to our identity as a firm. These practices include setting ambitious goals to combat climate change, partnering with local nonprofits, and prioritizing internal diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. We seek to use our position, ideas, and influence to drive progress in our industry and the wider world.  At Link, we give our customers space to grow—and we give people space to grow, too.

Link is seeking a Vice President, Product Management for our Salesforce platform.

By engaging stakeholders at all levels or the organization, and effectively translating priorities into actionable processes, this role is critical to ensure prioritization, execution, and alignment for all Salesforce initiatives. The current platform includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud and will be expanding to include Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud in the near future. This role is also responsible for all the tools in the Salesforce ecosystem required to efficiently operate the platform, including governance, product development, release management, capacity planning, integrations, monitoring, and reporting.  The role functions as the primary point of contact for multiple external vendor/partners and senior-level stakeholders across all business areas within Link Logistics. The platform team is made up of Link Logistics employees, vendor/partners for managed services and project delivery, with additional temporary or shared resources engaged as necessary.

The Vice President, Product Management also provides thought leadership on using Salesforce and related technology for CRM, digital marketing, channel partner management, customer engagement, and business process automation.

Finally, this role is a key member of our Digital Products leadership team, responsible for evolving our product and platform management approach to efficiently and creatively deliver a digital platform that engages our customers, manages our partner ecosystem in new ways, and delivers tools to help our employees effectively operate one of the largest industrial property portfolios in the world while providing world class customer service to our tenants.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define the platform visions and roadmap

  • Develop partnerships with key stakeholders and business owners across all functional areas within Link Logistics with a heavy emphasis on Customer Experience, Digital Marketing, Leasing, and Property Management

  • Maintain expert knowledge of Salesforce's products, including short and long-term product strategies and roadmaps.

  • Manage an ecosystem of applications to solve our complex business challenges and ensure the seamless flow of information throughout the entire Link Logistics digital platform

  • Engage with business stakeholders to create and manage a demand management process that equitably handles competing priorities across business teams

  • Create and manage processes to prioritize work, plan releases, manage resources, and transparently communicate status and delivery of a large number of simultaneous large initiatives, small projects, and ongoing minor platform changes

  • Manage communications with stakeholders, project team, and business and technology management

  • Manage integrations with Link and external products and platforms

  • Define and manage KPIs that build confidence in the platform and ensure the platform meets the needs and goals of the business

  • Develop and manage metrics that ensure vendors and external partners meet or exceed operational expectations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ years technology management and delivery experience in an enterprise environment or as a consultant providing service across a wide range of business functions

  • 7-10 years hands-on experience with Salesforce planning, implementation and platform operations including multiple Salesforce products

  • 7-10 years of experience with a variety of technology for CRM, service management, digital marketing, and B2B customer engagement

  • Understanding commercial real estate and the technology that enables it

  • Domestic travel may be required up to 20% (dependent on epidemiological conditions)

  • BA/BS or equivalent

  • MBA preferred

  • Strong strategic thinking, ability to think and align long term and short-term objectives and to align department prioritization with enterprise, customer, and investor priorities

  • Ability to ideate flexibly, quickly switching between ambitious, innovative solutions and iterative, proven approaches for efficient technology delivery

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to break complex problems into simple actionable actions

  • Significant experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams while embracing diverse people, thinking and styles
