Profile/Tasks:
•Designing and overseeing the implementation of secure architectures for operational technology (OT) systems, ensuring compliance with information security standards and best practices.
•Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security considerations into the design and implementation of OT solutions.
•Providing guidance and direction to OT Architects and personnel on information security requirements and protocols.
•Monitoring and analyzing security events and incidents within OT systems, and leading incident response efforts to address them effectively.
•Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards pertaining to information security in OT environments.
•Staying ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities in OT security and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Potential certifications:
·GIAC Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
·Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
·ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Certifications (various levels)
·Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA)
·Certified Automation Cybersecurity Expert (CACE)
·Certified Critical Infrastructure Protection Professional (CCIPP)
·Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
·Siemens Certified Professional - Industrial Security
Skills:
·Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
·Extensive experience in OT roles, with a strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and related technologies.
·Demonstrated leadership experience in architecting and implementing complex OT solutions.
·Knowledge of OT protocols and standards, such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC, and IEC 61850.
·Expertise in OT-specific architectures and frameworks, such as Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture (PERA) or the ISA-95 standard.
·Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to OT environments, such as NERC CIP or ISA/IEC 62443.
·Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
·Continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in OT architecture and security.
·Project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor OT projects effectively.
·Experience in developing and implementing secure OT architectures and solutions.
