Description

The Program Management Office (PMO) team supports the organization’s CEO and senior leadership team to define and execute key strategic initiatives, as well as working closely with Anderson’s PE sponsor and lenders to produce executive and board material. The team plays a critical role in driving deep cross-functional alignment and collaboration across the organization to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered and is critical to value creation at the business. This team fully embeds alongside the business, as true partners, working directly with the senior leadership and across the organization on a mixture of strategic and operational initiatives. 

 

The Analyst, Strategy & Operations PMO will report to the Vice President of Anderson Global and participate in a small but high-performing team of 4 PMO leaders. They will be an integral part of the team and executive team to land the present and shape the future of the organization, including assisting the VP and CEO with key strategy decisions and documents, helping to identify key growth levers, assisting in driving critical revenue and EBITDA growth efforts, and helping improve customer experience and retention, assisting in maintaining financial discipline and partnering with teams to deliver on key topics like pricing, new product development, cross-selling, etc. They will work cross-functionally to help the Vice President identify the most important value-creation projects and assist in driving them to completion. They will help the Vice President build simple but effective reporting frameworks to communicate progress and drive accountability.

 

 

Description:

  • Assist and contribute to a team of talented and high-performing PMO Leaders (reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Operations)
  • Assist in the execution of a company-wide portfolio of strategy projects, partnering closely with the leadership team and where needed, PE sponsor, to create a ‘Shared Vision’ and track progress.  
  • Assist the Vice President of Strategy & Operations in (1) structuring and driving operational and strategic initiatives by helping to develop work plans, (2) gathering and synthesizing relevant data, (3) leading some of the analyses, (4) helping to develop final recommendations, and (5) preparing documentation for the VP to present to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.  
  • Have a “team player mentality” for business reporting – aid the VP and team in identifying key areas of improvement and assist in executing them, contribute to critical reporting, and work with the data to flag opportunities or risks to the VP and business.  
  • Assist in solving business challenges with a strategic and operational lens – helping to scale best practices across the organization where applicable.  
  • Help the VP to identify, develop, and maintain any operational processes for the business including optimizing resource allocation across regions, measuring progress against goals, and facilitating materials for weekly management meetings.  
  • Assist the VP in running proactive governance reviews with the executive team to show progress on initiatives measured against time, cost, and benefit measures. 

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • 2+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (Bain, BCG, McKinsey, Accenture, EY,  Deloitte, PwC or similar) 
  • Demonstrable experience in assisting leaders in running complex, cross-functional initiatives at scale globally. Ideally, experience in driving value from M&A integration processes 
  • Demonstrable experience in engaging with C-suite executives globally 
  • Data-driven and highly collaborative 
  • Very comfortable with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. 
  • Familiar with complex data analysis using PowerBI
