Job description

Department: North America

Employment Type: Internship

Location: Remote, North America

Compensation: $18 per hour, 28 hours per week

Description

Emerald Publishing has ambitious growth plans in North America. To achieve our objectives, we are seeking an intern to join us for 12 weeks, and help with a wide range of data and market intelligence needs. We will use this information to test assumptions about approaches we can take to engaging with customers and identifying growth target areas.

The intern will support a small team but will have the opportunity to work on projects across marketing, sales, and editorial functions.

Location: As an organisation, we are remote-first. However, we still believe in the importance of face-to-face collaboration, so we would encourage office attendance at least once a month. We only operate from the following states: New York, Massachusetts, Florida, California, North Carolina, Maryland, so we would need the successful applicant to be based in one of these states.

Key Responsibilities

The internship involves conducting market research and analysis, understanding academic research and teaching trends, assessing the competitive landscape, finding new ways to highlight our content, profiling customers as well as providing basic support needs.
