Job Description

About the Role

Our Research department is the core function of our business. Responsible for finding, vetting, and screening each potential expert witness that work on the legal cases we’re assigned to.  We’re looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our research team as a part time Research Operations Coordinator. This individual will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment, where they’ll interact with both our medical and non-medical teams, helping with administrative tasks such as organizing data, scheduling conference calls, and following up with experts.

Our Research Operations Coordinator will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct legal research on complex litigation matters and experts nationwide

  • Analyze and distill legal documents, expert testimony, and professional documents

  • Conduct due diligence research leveraging information technology, databases, and software

  • Assist in profile management within CRM databases

  • Engage attorney clients with industry experts to achieve positive case outcomes

  • Support quality of deliverables provided to clients

  • Work on high impact administrative ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications
  • B.A. or B.S. in Pre-Law, History, Business, Communications or related field 

  • Experience in customer service or a client facing role preferred

  • Previous internship experience is a plus

  • Interest in law or the intersection of law and medicine  

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Positive attitude and desire to learn is a must

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Must have close attention to detail

  • Ability to meet deadlines, both prescribed and self-imposed

  • Creative analytical and problem solving skills is a must

Additional Information

Schedule:
We are looking for someone to join our team part-time in our Milwaukee office in the Third Ward or work remotely. The role would work 4 hours per day, Monday - Friday, preferably morning shift.
