Job description

This is a remote position.

Zazz is seeking an experienced RFP Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and developing successful bids, particularly within the IT services and mobile application development space. The Specialist will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end RFP processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of proposals. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• RFP Lead Generation: Proactively search for and identify new RFP opportunities through various channels, portals, and networks, ensuring a consistent pipeline of potential projects.
• Bid Management: Coordinate the entire bid process, including bid/no-bid decisionmaking, timeline management, and deliverable tracking.
• Team Leadership: Create and lead the Bid Management Team, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to ensure the effective execution of bid management processes and the professional growth of team members.
• Proposal Development: Lead the development of proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal Zazz standards.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical, and project management teams to develop winning strategies and articulate Zazz's strengths in proposals.
• Requirements Analysis: Analyze RFPs to identify key requirements and develop tailored responses that highlight the company's capabilities and solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the bid process.
• Documentation and Compliance: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including compliance matrices, capability summaries, and presentations. Ensure adherence to company and client standards.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of bid processes and knowledge management within the team

Requirements
• Knowledge of industry-standard bid management tools and databases is a must.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in bid management or proposal development, preferably within the IT services or custom application development     sectors.
• Strong understanding of the RFP/RFI/RFQ process and requirements gathering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with federal or state contracting is a plus.
• APMP certification is preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and SDLC in the context of application development projects.
• Familiarity with Mobile and Web Application Development processes and Tech Stack

12 - 14 LPA
