Fides is an early stage LegalTech startup based out of Munich. We are creating a data-driven & AI-enabled way to manage corporate governance duties. We will go above and beyond to make this work and expand into global jurisdictions quickly.

Founded by successful, second-time founders and funded by top-tier VCs (like Sequoia), we are preparing to make our mark in the startup heaven. We want to build something special, both in terms of product and in terms of culture. This will be a rocket ship and we need one more passenger before we can really take off!

We have been doing Founder-Led Sales since Fides started and now it's time to onboard an experienced Enterprise SaaS Sales Executive who will push our sales motion to the next level, automate processes wherever possible and hustle with our CEO & Founder Lisa and our GTM-Team.
Your mission
We are looking for someone to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and drive customer acquisition in the enterprise segment. Our target customers are large enterprises with multiple entities worldwide and our stakeholders are C-level Executives and General Counsel.

Joining our early stage startup will provide you with a unique opportunity to contribute to our growth story from the ground up. You will have the autonomy to shape our sales processes, work closely with our Founders and directly impact the success of our business.

You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment where your ideas and input are valued, and where you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive team. You will collaborate closely with our CEO Lisa and our Go-To-Market Team. Together with our Enterprise Account Executives, you will form the core Sales Team. This senior role also involves mentoring and providing guidance to other team members to help them grow and develop their potentials as well as hiring new team members.

Your main responsibilities:
  • Leverage your existing sales experience to establish best practices, refine sales processes, and contribute to the development of scalable sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape and market developments to identify new opportunities and strategies.
  • Constantly identifying ineffective processes within the GTM strategy and fixing them.
  • Take ownership of the sales process and drive revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise clients.
  • Identify, prospect, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts.
  • Lead complex negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms and timely deal closures.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with our Team, especially Marketing, Product and Customer Success, to meet customers’ needs.
  • Help to improve the general CRM setup.
  • Leverage existing network and actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide timely and accurate key-metrics, sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and other relevant sales data.
  • Grow our Sales Team.
  • Automate everything that can be automated.
Your profile
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive with a passion for legaltech and a desire to work in an early-stage startup environment. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience as an Account Executive in SaaS Enterprise Sales, along with the following qualifications:
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and acquiring enterprise clients.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes and methodologies, including account planning and pipeline management.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex and long sales cycles and close large, strategic deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions in a compelling manner to C-level executives and lawyers.
  • Experience in a startup or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Tech-savvy with a good understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and enterprise software solutions.
  • A strong team-oriented mindset, enjoying active participation in team events and engaging with other team members.
  • Residence preferably in Munich, but remote work is also possible.
  • You think turning a “no” into a “yes” is exciting and always possible.
  • You are not afraid to learn all about complex entity structures, legal documents or regulatory workflows to understand our customers inside out.
  • You are okay with our sales strategy, team, etc. being at the absolute beginning and there are few established processes. You are happy to build these and share knowledge with colleagues to be hired after you.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Native-level proficiency in German and exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
