Mobile Developer (Xamarin/MAUI)

Job Description:
At Astral Insights we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Developer specialized in Xamarin and/or MAUI to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Developer you will be building a cross-platform mobile application for a key client.

You will collaborate closely with other members of the software engineering team and various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of an application on iOS and Android to the respective app stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin/MAUI, focusing on delivering high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly experiences.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to translate project requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure mobile applications meet and exceed performance and functionality standards.
• Optimize mobile applications for maximum performance and compatibility across various platforms, including iOS and Android.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to improve code quality and maintain coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to app performance, functionality, and integration, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in mobile development.
• Proven track record as a Xamarin Developer, with a portfolio of cross-platform mobile applications.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework, along with a strong understanding of Xamarin.Forms and/or .NET MAUI
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between mobile applications and backend services including geofencing and push notifications.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques specific to Xamarin, including memory management and native integrations.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git, fostering a streamlined and collaborative development process.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a focus on delivering robust, error-free applications.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, agile development environment.

• Exceptional communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interaction with technical and non-technical team members.
