Job Summary:

As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibility will be managing a team of junior accountants. This includes delegating tasks, reviewing their work, and providing guidance and assistance as needed. Additionally, you will handle all production accounting activities. Your duties will include:

• Preparation of US tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations (e.g., 1040s, 1120s, 1065s, etc.).
• Conducting month-end and year-end book closings and clean-up.
• Experience with NY and NJ state tax filings is advantageous.
• Ability to train a local team.
• Attendance at monthly company and taxation training sessions.
• Experience with SurePrep is a plus.
