In the Benelux region, Munters operates two Sales & Service offices, located in Moordrecht (Netherlands) and Mechelen (Belgium).

To support its growth objectives, the team in Moordrecht is currently seeking a Field Sales Engineer.

As a Field Sales Engineer specializing in dehumidification, you will focus on serving customers in the Food, Dairy, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Waterworks sectors. Your main responsibility will be to meet the sales targets for your region, aligning your efforts with the strategic plan and within the designated timeframe.

Your Tasks:
  • Customer Mapping: Proactively map all customers in the Neherlands/sub region.

  • Salesforce Management: Record all necessary information in Salesforce, including amount, type, size, status, and opportunity.

  • Product and Service Sales: Sell Munters' approved products and services with effective margin management to meet or exceed annual targets.

  • Market Development: Proactively approach and develop new markets and accounts.

  • Quotation Preparation: Prepare competitive quotations based on customer needs through site inspections or customer meetings.

  • Annual Sales Planning: Develop an annual sales plan for the region.

  • CRM System Management: Record all sales activities in their CRM system.

  • Project Coordination: Conduct project meetings with the project department to review project requirements, contract services, and schedules before work begins.

  • Sales Forecasting: Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts.

  • Customer Relations: Maintain good customer relations through face-to-face and digital contact.

  • Complaint Handling: Address and resolve customer complaints.

  • Sales Negotiation: Evaluate and negotiate sales terms, payment, and delivery terms with customers.

  • Marketing Campaigns: Initiate agreed proactive marketing campaigns in target markets.

  • Company Profile Raising: Raise the company's profile in target markets through effective seminars.

  • Commercial Quantification: Quantify customer benefits in commercial terms such as ROI and payback period.

  • Networking: Participate in networking meetings.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with inside sales and team members in their geographical regions.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of the HVAC industry and/or industrial cooling

  • Broad interest and expertise in industrial climatization, electricity, and mechanics

  • Flexible team player with a solution-oriented attitude who enjoys variety

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Strong proactive customer orientation

  • Confidence in networking and planning

  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English

  • Regular travel required within the Netherlands and occasionally in Benelux (<10%)

  • Flexibility in work hours to meet customer deadlines
