The Regional Channel Sales Manager at Sangoma is responsible for managing and developing channel sales strategies within a specified region. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with channel partners, driving sales through these partners, and achieving regional sales targets. The manager will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure the effective promotion and sales of Sangoma's products and services through the channel partners. Must be located in the region.

Your Role:

  • Develop and implement channel sales strategies to meet regional sales targets.
  • Create and execute business plans with channel partners to drive sales growth.
  • Assist channel partners in closing deals and provide necessary resources to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide training and support to channel partners on products, services, and sales techniques.
  • Managed the sales process from inception to closing, including diligent funnel management in Salesforce.
  • Conduct regular meetings and reviews with channel partners to assess performance and address issues and set sales goals.
  • Provide on-site demonstration of products to both partners and clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns targeted at channel partners.
  • Ensure that channel partners have the necessary marketing materials and resources.
  • Document and manage all activities and communications in our CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Participate in regional trade shows, events, and conferences to promote products and build relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Use data and insights to make informed decisions and improve channel sales strategies.
  • Negotiate reseller contracts (where applicable)
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned.


Your Background:

  • Excellent professional relationships within the channel community firmly focused on TSD/agent relationships in your region.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in channel sales management, preferably within in UCaaS and CCaaS or SaaS software or VOIP telephony.
  • Proficient in Safesforce.com (Required)
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
  • Intense business Hunting and Development skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, channel management, and partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to travel over 50% of the time and work your territory. (Successful RCMs are out meeting partners every day)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong G-Suite experience preferred
  • Strong partner/reseller relationships are required in the required territory.
