About You:

The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing marketing automation platforms to execute and enhance marketing campaigns. This role involves creating workflows, managing lead nurturing processes, and analyzing the performance of automated marketing efforts to drive engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Automation Management:

  • Configure, manage, and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot, etc.).
  • Develop and implement automated marketing workflows, including email campaigns, lead nurturing sequences, and customer segmentation.

Campaign Execution:

  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including template creation, content personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Manage campaign timelines, ensuring on-time delivery and coordination with other marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create compelling and relevant content for automated campaigns.

Lead Management:

  • Develop and manage lead scoring models to prioritize leads based on engagement and readiness to purchase.
  • Implement and optimize lead nurturing workflows to guide prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Integrate marketing automation with CRM systems to ensure seamless lead handoff to the sales team.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of automated marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
  • Generate regular reports on key metrics, campaign performance, and ROI.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.

Data Management:

  • Maintain and update the marketing database to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Implement best practices for data segmentation, list management, and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Optimization and Innovation:

  • Continuously optimize automated workflows and campaigns based on performance data and industry best practices.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in marketing automation technology.
  • Identify and implement new automation opportunities to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
      Requirements & Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or a related field
      • 3+ years of experience in marketing automation or a similar role.
      • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot, etc.).
      • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and integrating marketing automation tools with CRM.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
      • Certification in marketing automation platforms is a plus.
      • Agency experience is a plus
        Other:
        • Working Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. Monday to Friday
        • Salary Range: $1400 - $2000 USD depending on experience
        • Type of Contract: Independent contractor
